The diagram titled "Alumni MPBI" provides a snapshot of the career paths chosen by graduates of the Master of English Program (MPBI) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta for the years 2020 and 2021. The data reveals a clear preference for teaching, with a significant number of alumni pursuing careers as teachers in both years. In 2020, out of 12 tracked alumni, 8 opted for teaching, 2 for business, and 6 for lecturing positions. The trend continued in 2021, with 10 out of 20 alumni choosing teaching, 2 venturing into business, and 8 pursuing lecturing roles. This consistent trend highlights the program's effectiveness in preparing graduates for successful careers in education. However, the relatively smaller number of alumni pursuing business careers suggests a potential area for improvement in fostering entrepreneurial skills and opportunities within the program. Incorporating more business-oriented courses or internships could encourage more graduates to explore entrepreneurial ventures. To gain a deeper understanding of alumni career paths, it would be beneficial to collect data for subsequent years and conduct further research, such as surveys or interviews, to gather qualitative insights. By analyzing these factors, the MPBI program can make informed decisions to enhance its curriculum and support services, ultimately empowering its graduates to achieve their full potential in a variety of career paths.
