The Masters in English Language Education (MPBI - English Language Education Masters Department) is a program offered by The Faculty of Education and Teacher Training at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. It was officially established on November 9, 2009, following the signing of Establishment Decree No.
DJI/678/2009 by the Director General of Islamic Education, Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, Mohammad Ali. After five years of operation, MPBI underwent an accreditation process in 2014. As a result, the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) awarded the program an accreditation score of 335 (B), as outlined in Decree No. 448/SK/BANPT/akred/M/XI/2014.a
